Biographical details
Dr James Ward is a researcher in the Australian Centre for Field Robotics at The University of Sydney. He works in the area of intelligent transportation systems to improve the safety and efficiency of our transport systems, with a view towards large scale deployment of technologies such as intelligent infrastructure and self-driving cars.
James is also the head mentor for the "The Drop Bears", the University of Sydney's FIRST Robotics Competition team - an international competition for school students in Years 9-12.
