Our aim

The aim of CAFE is to innovate in food products, processes and supply chains to promote human wellbeing globally.

We will achieve this vision by concentrating a critical mass of researchers to collaboratively address global issues including: navigating the combined pressures and opportunities of population growth and demand increase to deliver a safe, sustainable and secure food supply; addressing the prevalence of chronic health conditions and aging population; minimising food waste; developing value-added and fortified foods to enhance consumer health and food quality; and creating tailored solutions for the domestic and export food market and environment.
