These scholarships have all been generously donated by our industry partners and we appreciate their support and commitment to our students. Joint Research Engagement (JRE) Engineering Cadetship Grants
Who Should Apply: Domestic students enrolled in a research degree and currently engaged in a Cadetship
Value: $5,000 p.a.
Duration: Up to 4 years for PhD candidates, and 2 years for Master of Philosophy candidates.

R.W. McKenzie Supplementary Scholarship in Aeronautical Science and Technology
Who Should Apply:
  • Open to graduates of the University of Sydney or to any other person eligible for admission to candidature for a higher degree in the University of Sydney and hold or expect to hold an APA, UPA or IPRS
  • Applicants must be enrolled full time in a higher degree by research in the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering.
Value: $5,000 p.a.
Duration: 1 year (renewable for further periods up to a maximum of 3 years)

Peter Nicol Russell Postgraduate Scholarship in Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
Who Should Apply:
  • Open to University of Sydney or to any other person eligible for admission to candidature for a higher degree in the University of Sydney and hold or expect to hold an APA, UPA or IPRS award.
  • Applilcants must be enrolled full time in a higher degree by research only in mechanical or mechatronic engineering in the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
Value: $5,000 p.a.
Duration: 1 year (renewable for further periods up to a maximum of 3 years)
