We are so delighted to celebrate the birth of Eloise Fetterplace and her husband Mitchell Chan’s daughter, Francesca Isla Chan.

Eloise has been with the Sydney Environment Institute since 2017, starting as our Administration Assistant and moving into her current role as our powerhouse Project and Communications Officer. Eloise has a Bachelor of Socio-legal Studies from the University of Sydney, where she majored in Sociology, before going on to study a Masters in Communication Management at UTS.

Eloise’s tireless work has been absolutely integral to the evolution of the Institute. We already miss her presence in the office while she takes well deserved parental leave, but we are all so thrilled for her and Mitchell as they begin this new chapter. Francesca was born happy and healthy on Friday, December 6.

We wish all three of them all the best at this exciting time!
