Art communicating environmental crisis.
Our mission is to foster and cultivate projects by artists whose work impacts and influences social knowledge of the environment, of writers on material culture who engage with contemporary environmental debates, and museum projects that utilise material culture, collections and curatorial vision to negotiate the present by focusing a lens on the recent and distant past.
This project elevates the visibility of Art, objects and the people who influence thought and action on ecology, global warming and environmental problems. We highlight practice that illuminates the contemporary social landscape and shapes political thought on the environment and support the people who are interpreting and curating material culture at the junction of the environmental humanities and social sciences.
