eResearch describes the activities that utilise advanced information and communications technologies (ICT) for the practice of research. These technologies assist researchers to collect, analyse, share and store information.     • eResearch development is accelerating at a national level through the Super Science Initiative and NCRIS Platforms for Collaboration and with the formation of a NSW state eResearch institute, Intersect.
