eResearch describes the activities that utilise advanced information and communications technologies (ICT) for the practice of research. These technologies assist researchers to collect, analyse, share and store information. eResearch development is accelerating at a national level through the Super Science Initiative and NCRIS Platforms for Collaboration and with the formation of a NSW state eResearch institute, Intersect. The eResearch team are developing resources to enable University staff to determine which tools and services are best suited for their research needs.
