E12 on campus accommodation at Sydney
Moving out and starting university can be daunting, which is why living on campus at college (with full board, pastoral care and academic assistance) can make the transition much easier. There are eight residential colleges and five University-run residences at the University of Sydney, each with their own culture and atmosphere. These are:
- Abercrombie Precinct
- Darlington House
- Selle House
- Queen Mary Building
- International House
- St. Paul’s College
- Sancta Sophia College
- St. John’s College
- St. Andrew’s College (offers 3 partial scholarships for E12 students annually)
- Wesley College
- Women’s College

This year, the colleges at the University of Sydney have made it easier for E12 students to apply. Some of the colleges have waived application fees for E12 candidates whilst others have specific and generous scholarships for successful E12 students. All of the University of Sydney colleges have scholarships and financial support programs in place for eligible students and are willing to work flexibly with applicants.
Application deadlines vary between colleges, but most close in early December. It is best to apply for colleges at the same time as you are applying for uni through UAC (September).
It is very important that you advise the colleges in your application (or via a separate email) that you are an E12 student, to be considered for any concessions or specialised scholarships.
