Chaplains are professional women and men who provide spiritual support and pastoral care to students and staff on campus. They are appointed by their faith community and are officially recognised by the University.
Their roles include:
- providing support during times of personal crisis
- providing opportunities for workshop and prayer
- conducting weddings and funerals.
Some of the chaplains are based at the Multifaith Chaplaincy Centre. The centre is currently visited by Anglican, Assemblies of God, Baptist, Buddhist, Catholic, Coptic Orthodox, Greek Orthodox, Islamic, Jewish, Presbyterian, The Salvation Army and Uniting Church chaplains.
Our Camperdown Campus also offers prayer rooms for Muslim students.
