The band is also a source of musicians for USU productions and concerts, and band members can expect to receive offers for non-JazzSoc performances throughout the year. The band plays a mix of Jazz, Blues, Funk and Soul and is currently directed by Justin Buckingham. Rehearsals are held weekly. The band is auditioned anew every year. Details of auditions can be received at O-Week from the JazzSoc stall.
