How to accept your firm offer (UAC)

Congratulations on receiving your firm offer from the University of Sydney.

International students who have applied through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) can use these pages to accept their firm offers online (Am I an international student?).

Please Note: Please Note: refer to the acceptance of offer instructions on your UAC Course Offer Summary and letter of offer for the date & details of your offer.
If you receive an offer through UAC for admissions to the University of Sydney in 2012, you should accept your offer within 14 days of the date of your offer, or by 10 February 2012, whichever is earlier
.

You can accept and/or defer your UAC offer online. To do this, you need to complete the following steps:

1. Obtain your SID
At the first step in the web acceptance process you will be able to access your University of Sydney student identification number (SID) and UniKey login name and password. This will give you access to the University's online student services and your student email. Access your SID here.

If you are unable to obtain your SID through this weblink you can apply for it here.

2. Accept your offer
When you have obtained your SID, you can accept your offer online through the International Student Office Web Acceptance (IOWA) system.

When you accept your offer through IOWA, you must also arrange for payment of the deposit amount listed in your Course Offer Summary. Your place in your course is not confirmed until payment has been received. Students should note that some courses are subject to quotas so you MUST accept your offer early to confirm your place
If you wish to defer your offer, you can also do this through IOWA.

IMPORTANT Information for students who have applied for or obtained an Australian Permanent Resident visa.
