Biographical Note - Ms Louise Freckelton

A graduate of the University of Sydney, Louise has been involved in various aspects of International Education for over 20 years. Her experience ranges from international student support and preparation for tertiary study, international student recruitment, research on internationalization of curriculum and international program development. Louise has been an international student herself, studying in Beijing for 1 year and has worked at a number of universities in Australia, China and the UK in positions related to international education. Her qualifications include a Masters of Education (International) from Monash University. She has recently become a PhD candidate, her research focussing on China's elite medical schools and their approach to internationalisation.

Louise is also a Committee member of the China Education Centre - part of the Faculty of Education and Social Work.
