Office for Global Health
The Office for Global Health, part of the Sydney Medical School, works with the University of Sydney's Health Faculties to internationalise the research we undertake, the experience of our students and staff, and our approaches to learning and teaching. We also aim to contribute to the health and wellbeing of our region by engaging in health projects with some of our nearest neighbours.
Teachers from Hoc Mai's Advanced Course for Medical Education and Research recently returned from a successful four-day program in Hanoi.
Nine fellows from Ho Chi Minh City, 175 Military Hospital and Tu Du Hospital, started their clinical placement program.
Ten Vietnamese medical students, currently undertaking 4-week clinical school placements, met with Hoc Mai Chair Prof Bruce Robinson and A/Prof Kirsty Foster.
Two medical students from the Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia, were supported by a Sydney Medical School Foundation grant to undertake a 4 week clinical placement at Northern Clinical School this month.
