Brazilian Centre for evidence based physiotherapy
Funded by: International Project Development Fund and Sydney Medical School
Project: Collaborate with the Universidade Cidade de São Paulo to develop the Brazilian Centre for Evidence-Based Physiotherapy (CEBP_Brazil) by: (1) integrating Portuguese- and Spanish-language content developed by the CEBP_Brazil into the Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), (2) providing a series of workshops on evidence-based practice for academics and senior clinicians in Brazil.

WUN Public health and climate change network; combining climate change and chronic disease prevention
Funded by: International Project Development Fund and Sydney Medical School
Project: The funding will be used to conduct a follow up workshop of the research network created at the inaugural WUN Public Health and Climate Change (PH&CC) Workshop hosted by U/ Bristol in February 2010. The objectives of the proposed workshop include identifying a discrete research agenda, defining research projects and possible funding sources and applying for grants to pursue the goals of the PH&CC. The PH&CC Network is currently considering a NIH call for EOI in climate change and health.

Global health and development collaboration with the Earth Institute of Colombia University.
Funded by: International Project Development Fund and Sydney Medical School
Project: Building on existing partnerships between the University of Sydney and the Earth Institute at Columbia University, the program will support collaboration on the Millennium Villages Project in Africa and in Papua New Guinea as well as the newly established Global Food Systems Initiative. Areas of activity include faculty visits and collaborative operational research.

Chronobiology Centres network (CCN) PILOT PROJECT
Funded by: International Project Development Fund and Sydney Medical School
Project: Development (with the CCRE, Interdisciplinary Sleep Health) of a network of centres performing key co-ordinated human experimental research in sleep loss and chronobiology. Based at the Woolcock / USyd, Harvard and Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School Singapore will participate in the CCN. The Woolcock has a unique physical plant with all attendant research related tools. The CCN gains efficiencies and attracts more grants.
