Adopting new approaches to medical education at the University of Sydney - a lecture by Dr Lyndal Trevena

This lecture delivered to clinical teaching staff at the Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine by our Sub-Dean (International), tells the story of curriculum reform at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Sydney. It describes how the medical program changed from a traditional one in the 1980s, to a problem-based integrated curriculum in the 1990s. It outlines the further reform currently being undertaken in 2008.
