Outgoing University of Sydney ELECTIVE students to Karolinska Institute
Number of places: Up to two University of Sydney students in their fixed elective term will be nominated to represent the Faculty under this scheme.

Duration: This placement is 48 weeks in duration.
Other: The University of Sydney is the only Australian partner in the Karolinska Institute exchange program & the program has been active for several years. The Karolinska Institute offers a number of their courses and options in English.
Travel and living expenses must be borne by students, although some subsidised accommodation may be available.

Incoming Karolinska Institute students to University of Sydney
The International Office at the Karolinska Institute will nominate up to two students per year for short term elective placement at the University of Sydney. Students should nominate subspecialty areas of special interest & we will do our best to accommodate individual preference.
Karolinska students should suggest speciality areas of interest and we will do our best to provide your preferred placement. Karolinska students will usually be placed at Royal North Shore hospital. In 2011 we hosted Camilla Statin and Christian Trumsted.
