International experiences – Non-elective (clinical)
The Office for Global Health programs include some opportunities for students to undertake a clinical experience outside the fixed elective term. These are suitable for (but not limited to) students in Stages 1 & 2 and may be completed as an Independent Learning Activity (ILA) or simply be an additional opportunity to gain some international experience. Students who wish to count these placements as their ILA must arrange appropriate supervision and complete the appropriate contract and applications. Please consult the medical program website for current policies and procedures. Applications for these placements will be advertised via bulletins in the first half of the year.
