Erin - Masters

Photo of smiling masters student, Erin.

My name is: Erin Sanderson

I am studying: a Master of Management.

My specialisation is: Bioethics and Management.

I chose my specialisation because: I am really interested in biotech/healthcare consultancy and decision making-models of such nature.

The one thing I couldn’t live without is: Coffee.

My favourite colour is: Opal (I know it’s not really a colour per se…but it’s so pretty!).

My favourite quote is: Sorry to make a short story long… to make up for my long-windedness by confusing people even more!

The last book I read was: gosh a whole lot of economics and finance!!

I grew up: In Michigan, USA.

When I was a kid I always wanted to be: In the medical field.

My career goal/s is/are: Healthcare Consultancy and Motivational Speaking.

Why choose Sydney? It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world!

More about me: I have been in Sydney for 2 years, originally coming on exchange to Macquarie for an adventure! I then went on to do a Master of Bioethics, and now a Master of Management to help me reach my goal of working in my field of choice.

Previous to this, I grew up in Michigan, and went to undergraduate university at St. Norbert College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Home of the Packers!!

For fun I love running and tennis, and especially sailing on the Great Lakes when I’m home in Michigan. I also just like sitting with a group of good friends and a great red.

I love The University of Sydney and am so glad I came here to study!
