Postgraduate Welcome and Orientation

The Graduate Studies Office co-ordinate the university-wide Postgraduate Welcome and Orientation event for postgraduate students. The event takes place twice per year, once in each semester and is open to commencing postgraduate students from all disciplines. We also welcome students who enrollled last semester but were perhaps unable to attend the event.

When is the next welcome event?

The next event is due to take place in August 2011 (the venue and date are to be confirmed).

Previous events

The semester 1 Welcome and Orientation event was held on Wednesday 9 March 2011, in the Footbridge Theatre, Camperdown.

The event consisted of a variety of guest speakers including a formal welcome from Professor Marie Carroll, Director of Academic Affairs, as well as an introduction to key support services available during the course of your study.
