Introduction

Overview

The University of Sydney is one of the foremost providers of quality postgraduate education in Australia. In 2012, more than 17,000 students were enrolled in postgraduate courses at the University of Sydney. Of these students, more than 4,400 enrolled in postgraduate research programs.

This University is committed to providing high quality education to all of its students. One aspect of that commitment is providing postgraduate students with useful and relevant information in a form that is easily accessible to them. This handbook is an important part of that process.
