You are responsible for keeping regular contact with the appointed course supervisor (an average of an hour per fortnight), maintaining ongoing studies consultation, and observing a schedule of dates for the presentation of research paper or dissertation drafts.

Your supervisor will maintain a record of your progress, and provide you with a summary of your progress at the end of semester.

Honours examination

Your final examination will take place at the Degree Show at the end of the course.

A panel of two examiners (one not being a member of SCA staff) will examine your studio work and research paper or dissertation. Each examiner will meet once with you in your studio in the weeks prior to your examination. The purpose of these meetings is to familiarise the examiners with your studio project.

At your examination, the examiners will engage in discussion of your studio work and research paper or dissertation, which they will have received and read in advance. They may ask you questions and offer comments.
