Health Sciences library

The Health Sciences library is one of 12 libraries in the University of Sydney Library network. It is located on the Cumberland Campus in R Block, and is accessible to users with physical disabilities. It has an integrated collection with special emphasis on the health sciences, encompassing more than 80,000 books, 3000 videos, 900 journal subscriptions, and 90 scholarly workstations with access to e-books, databases and other electronic resources.

The library provides high quality information services and resources to support students and staff in the teaching, learning and research programs at the University. You can:

  • Borrow books and other resources from 12 University of Sydney Libraries
  • Renew and view your loans online
  • Access databases and most e-journals off campus, when and where you need them!
  • Access to over 325,000 electronic books 24/7
  • Use the E-reserve service to access course reading material online
  • As a postgraduate student or staff use the document delivery service to get journal articles and books not held in the collection
  • Distance Education students may be eligible for other services - more info
  • Access Computer Facilities and Wireless Access
  • Make use of Information Literacy Services including classes, online learning and appointments - ask your Faculty Liaison Librarian

  • Friday: 8am–6pm
  • Saturday: 9am–4pm
  • Sunday: 1pm–5pm
