Biographical details
Associate Professor Ann Packman has worked for more than 30 years in the area of stuttering as a clinician, teacher and researcher. She does research into the nature and treatment of stuttering, and has a special interest in theory. She presents widely at national and international conferences, has over 100 publications in peer reviewed journals and has authored and edited four books on stuttering. She recently served a three-year term as Associate Editor for Fluency for the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology and is currently Associate Editor for Fluency for Language, Speech, Hearing Services in Schools. She has been granted over $11 million in research funding from NHMRC and ARC, including two NHMRC Program Grants.
