Biographical details
Dr. Chow is a lifestyle scientist for sleep. She leads a team of research students who contribute to understanding the role of glycemic index on sleep. The findings have major implications for people with sleep initiation difficulty, since a dietary approach could potentially help these people. Dr. Chow has mentored many research higher degree students, who are making important contributions to knowledge and will go on to make broader contributions to society.

- Sleep Health - This project is a group of studies investigating how the various factors of exercise, food and beverages may affect sleep health in normal individuals, athletes or those with sleep complaints.
- Sleep & Depression - This project will investigate the effect of natural light exposure and sleep-wake pattern in subjects with depressive illnesses.
