Biographical details

Elizabeth (Liz) Murray is a Scholarly Teaching Fellow at the University of Sydney who teaches paediatric speech and language as well as research methods and evidence-based practice. She has worked in disability, school, community health, hospital and private practice. She also practices clinically 2 days a week.

Elizabeth Murray is a member of theCommunication sciences and disordersresearch team.

Childhood apraxia of speech – assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
Differential diagnosis of expressive communication disorders: motor speech, phonological impairment and language impairment.
Treatment efficacy for children with expressive speech and/or language disorders.
Genetic and neurological correlates of motor speech disorders.
Speech motor control and development in children.
Evidence based practice.
Family centred practice.
Service delivery for children with communication impairments.
