Biographical details

John is a Koori from the Yuin Nation and is a sociologist​ in Indigenous health, specialising in disability and ageing. John has worked in disability and ageing research and community development in government and non-government agencies for over ten years. Completing his PhD in 2013, John is involved in a range of projects involving Aboriginal people with disabilities, their Elders and communities. John is also the founding Chairperson of the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Disability Research Network.
