Biographical details

Previously experience as associate level faculty in Rehabilitation Counseling Programs at Louisiana State University and Auburn University; Director and Co-Principal Investigator at the National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials; and Co-founder and Director of the Louisiana Business Leadership Network. I teach broadly in the curriculum with focused expertise in assessment, placement, ethics, research, and counseling.

Mental Health

My research interests focus on issues of community inclusion, adovcacy and empowerment in any application including the development of a community-based model for Rehabilitation Counsellor education, building an international community of practice for the development of Rehablitation Counselling in the Asia Pacific region, facilitating the devleopment of community-based inclusive development program initiatives,and advancing innovative and evidence-based practices in employment development and support for workers with disabilities.

Teaching and supervision

I have been responsible of rht edecvelopment and implementation of a new curiculum. In this role I teach broadly in the programme with particular expertise in rehabilitation counseling; case management; vocational evaluation and assessment; career theory and fvocational counseling; family issues in disabilities; career development and job placement; psychiatric rehabilitation; rehabilitation administration, management, and policy; and community based inclusive development.
