Biographical details

Previously experience as associate level faculty in Rehabilitation Counseling Programs at Louisiana State University and Auburn University; Director and Co-Principal Investigator at the National Clearinghouse of Rehabilitation Training Materials; and Co-founder and Director of the Louisiana Business Leadership Network. I teach broadly in the curriculum with focused expertise in assessment, placement, ethics, research, and counseling.

Mental Health

My research interests focus on issues of community inclusion in any application including family interface with rehabilitation counseling; supply side employment strategies; advancing innovative and evidence-based employment and career practices; developing intentional communities of practice in the service of knowledge translation, program management, and policy development; community engagement in psychiatric rehabilitation; advancing best pedagogical practice in inclusive distance education technologies, and advancing social network analysis as a tool in research and practice.

Teaching and supervision

As Senior Lecturer and Course Director, I provide oversight and quality control over all units of study within the purview of the rehabilitation counseling discipline. I teaching broadly in the programme with particular expertise in rehabilitation counseling, case management, vocational evaluation and assessment, career theory and counseling, family issues in disabilities, career development and job placement, psychiatric rehabilitation, rehabilitation administration, management, and policy.
