Biographical details

​Dr Monique Hines is a speech pathologist with research interests in the health, wellbeing, and lived experiences of people with lifelong disability and their family members. She completed her PhD studies at the University of Sydney in 2009 with her thesis entitled Living with Autism: A Narrative Analysis of Older Parents' Experiences.

Dr Hines is currently employed as a postdoctoral research associate on the ‘Wobbly Hub and Double Spokes’ project. This is a NHMRC funded research partnership between the University of Sydney and NSW Family and Community Services Ageing, Disability and Home Care, Western Region, investigating the delivery of therapy services to people with a disability living in rural and remote areas
