Biographical details
Dr Natalie Allen is a lecturer in the neurological physiotherapy team within the Discipline of Physiotherapy. Natalie has a special interest in exercise for people with neurological conditions, particularly Parkinson's disease. After 9 years of clinical experience in neurological rehabilitation, Natalie completed her PhD, which focussed on evaluating and exploring exercise interventions to reduce fall risk in people with Parkinson's disease. Natalie's published work investigating the effect of exercise on fall risk in Parkinson's disease was selected by the Movement Disorders Society for use in their Internet Journal Continuing Medical Education Program. Natalie continues to research the effect of exercise on people with Parkinson's disease
