Biographical details

Dr Renae McNamara is a clinical research fellow of The University of Sydney and Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. Dr McNamara is also a clinical specialist physiotherapist in pulmonary rehabilitation at the Prince of Wales Hospital. She completed her PhD in water-based exercise for people with COPD.


Research interests

Research interests include interventions to improve exercise capacity and health-related quality of life in people with chronic respiratory disease, and evaluation of the health system effects and economic benefits of pulmonary rehabilitation.
