Biographical details

Steve is a senior lecturer in motor control & skill acquisition as well as sport & exercise psychology in the Discipline of Exercise and Sport Science within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Sydney.

Research interests

​Steve's primary research interests examine developmental factors that constrain learning, development, and performance across sport, educational, and workplace settings.

Teaching and supervision

Steve lectures across undergraduate (e.g., EXSS2025 - Motor Control & Skill Acquisition; EXSS3049 Sport & Exercise Psychology) and post-graduate courses (e.g., EXSS5050) associated with exercise and sports sciences, coaching & physical education. In terms of post-graduate supervision, alongside colleagues Steve is presently supervising honours, masters, and several PhD candidates.
