We aim to attract the best students and enhance their research interests and capacities for leadership. Students are prepared for the new career opportunities in aged care, occupational health, health promotion, health services management and policy analysis - and new fields such as the impact of climate change on older people. We have a strong emphasis on responsiveness to cultural diversity and social disadvantage.
Unit staff supervise postgraduate students as integral to our research teams and lead multi-disciplinary colloquia for staff and graduate students. We contribute research-informed, multi-disciplinary teaching to undergraduate and post graduate coursework across the health professions and fields in the Faculty.
