Clinical and Rehabilitation Sciences
Injuries and ongoing health conditions impact many people. The Clinical and Rehabilitation Sciences Research Group tries to improve the well-being of these people. This involves:
- determining the cause of the condition;
- understanding the impact of the condition;
- looking at treatments that can improve quality of life and
- attempting to prevent the condition happening to others.
Teams within the Group conduct research into many areas including: back pain, breast cancer, arthritis and musculoskeletal injuries, foot and ankle impairments, lung and heart physiotherapy, neurological rehabilitation and occupational performance.
