For new undergraduate & GEM students


In order to meet NSW Ministry of Health (NSW Health) requirements to undertake clinical placements during a health professional right of entry course in NSW Health facilities, the University is required to arrange all students to undertake COMPULSORY Compliance Checks. All students who will be seeking clinical placements as part of their degree course must complete this check.

All International students will enrol on Monday, 03 February 2014, at the Faculty of Health Sciences Cumberland Campus - Block E, 75 East Street, Lidcombe, NSW 2141.

Domestic Graduate Entry Masters Enrolment

Offers to various Graduate Entry Masters programs have been released for round 1, through UAC. Following the offer through UAC, the Faculty has emailed all successful applicants instructions how to accept.

What to bring for the in-person enrolment

  • Offer letter – UAC offer letter for Undergraduate students; Faculty offer letter for Postgraduate students
  • Documentary evidence to meet condition/s stipulated in the Offer Letter
  • Photo ID (Passport or driver’s license)
  • Evidence of Australian citizenship/Australian Permanent residency status:
    birth certificate, or passport, or Australian citizenship certificate
  • Tax File Number (TFN)
  • Pen

What to do if you are unable to attend your in-person enrolment

If you have accepted the offer and unable to attend your scheduled enrolment session, please follow the instructions below:

All students should enrol in person. If for any reason your are unable to make the scheduled date, you must:

Authorise someone to act as your proxy to enrol on your behalf.

Your authorised proxy will need to attend your scheduled enrolment date and time on your behalf. Your proxy will be required to have the following documents;

  • Proxy authorisation form
  • Photo ID (of proxy)
  • A copy of the offer letter from UAC
  • Documentary evidence to meet condition/s stipulated in the Offer Letter.


Authorise Student Central, the University of Sydney to act as your proxy.

Please follow the next steps to organise Student Central as your proxy:

  • your intention for Student Central to act as your proxy. Provide your name, postal address with your UAC number & course name.

Student Central will:

  • post your proxy enrolment package to your nominated postal address
  • enrol all students once all necessary documents have been returned
  • email your Unikey details and instructions on how to apply for your student campus card.

Important note: If after accepting your offer, you do not complete & return your proxy enrolment forms sent to you by Student Central, the offer will lapse. This means that should you wish to be considered for the same course or another course in the University in the future, you will need to submit a new application in accordance with the University’s application requirements at that time.

All students that have enrolled by proxy, will be required to come in-person to Student Central to finalise their enrolment.
