Bachelor of Health Sciences, Honours, PhD
Throughout my degree, I was exposed to a range of academic disciplines and learned about the importance of health from varying perspectives... I decided to complete my honours in cyber-psychology, which led to my PhD in social psychology. I am now working as a mental health researcher.
Bachelor of Health Sciences, Honours in Movement Science
Honours was a pathway to my ultimate goal – to work in research and practice as a paediatric physiotherapist. I chose my major in Movement Science to gain an understanding of the fundamentals of health, anatomy, biomechanics and physiology. It gave me a solid platform on which to progress to a Master of Physiotherapy.
Bachelor of Health Sciences, Youth Engagement Coordinator, Inspire Foundation
I loved that this course values diversity and provides students with an opportunity to bring their flavour and perspective, I think it’s this kind of thing that will ultimately create a creative, diverse and skilled group of people who will take healthcare into the next iteration.
Bachelor of Health Sciences, Honours
I was motivated to select a Health Sciences degree because I wanted to explore the broad spectrum that is health before I committed myself to a particular profession. After some time with the degree, especially with undertaking Honours, it has enabled me to select Occupational Therapy as a future career path as a health professional.
