There are many University-wide services available for all current students in FHS.

There are also specific services for students who study mainly on Cumberland campus.

Yooarang Garang

Yooroang Garang is the Faculty's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student Support Unit. The Dharug words “Yooroang Garang” mean "strong place", which is what we see as our central purpose: to be a strong place for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander tertiary education, to provide a supportive academic and social environment for students and to be a place which generates positive change in health care to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.

Services for students include the ITAS tutoring program, academic assistance, student computer and printing labs, student kitchen and lunch rooms and a variety of study spaces.

Visit the Yooarang Garang website for more information.

Yannadah is an on-campus accommodation for Faculty of Health Sciences students. There are 39 single study bedrooms for males and females. Because the accommodation is relatively small, preference is given to first year students and full-time undergraduate students who come from outside of the Sydney greater metropolitan area. Further information on the service is available here.

IT Services

When you become a student at Sydney you will be given a UniKey account that will give you access to IT services around the university.

These services include free email, internet services both on and off campus, computer access labs and printing services.
