Applicants require completion of at least three 'Hong Kong Advanced Level' subjects in one academic year. Grades required are as follows:

 To determine the grade achieved:  Total of best three subjects at Advanced Level (where A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1). Add one point each for Pure or Applied Maths, Chemistry, Biology or Physics subjects. Advanced Supplementary subjects may also be added to the total (where A=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, D=1, E=0.5).

 Applicants with a tertiary qualification

The minimum entry requirement is usually at least one year's successful full-time study at a recognised tertiary institution. More information

Entry requirements for graduate entry master’s degrees

To be eligible to apply you will need:

  • A PhD, master's or bachelor's degree from an Australian institution or equivalent
  • A Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.5 or greater (see approximate GPA equivalents below) assessed on the highest ranked tertiary qualification presented
  • The Master of Physiotherapy, Master of Speech Language Pathology and Master of Exercise Physiology have additional assumed knowledge requirements. For details please check the faculty website

GPA equivalents- Hong Kong

  • On a scale of 0 – 4 - Second Class Division II or Lower Division or GPA 2.5.
  • On a scale of 0 - 4.3 where 1.0 is Pass and 4.3 is the highest, -GPA 2.7.
