Travel and venue information

The Symposium will take place in the Law School Building Annex, at the University of Sydney’s Camperdown Campus.

By taxi

If travelling via taxi the best drop-off point if in front of the coffee cart at the end of Manning Road, in the vicinity of the Fisher Library. The Law School Building Annex is then accessible via Eastern Avenue which is not open to vehicles. Look out for the ‘ABF/Casemix Symposium' signage and event ushers. By train

Catch a train to Redfern station, and then take a 10-minute walk to the main campus. View the CityRail website for more information on planning your travel by train.

By bus from the city

Pre-paid tickets can be purchased at many convenience stores. A ‘my bus 1’ ticket will take you from close to all suggested hotels to the University, and a 10 trip ticket is a good idea.

For stops on Parramatta Road catch routes 412, 413, 436, 437, 438, 440, 461, 480 or M10 from George Street or Railway Square. Get off at the University gates.

For stops on City Road catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428 from Castlereagh Street or Railway Square. M30 uses George Street and Railway Square. Get off at the University gates.

By car

Parking

People wanting to park in the University, who do not have a permit, may do so by obtaining a ticket from the Pay and Display machines located around the campus. Please note, cash only payment.

Tickets must be displayed in accordance with instructions printed on them, i.e. face up on the dashboard in a clearly visible position.

Parking is on the Camperdown and Darlington campuses is subject to availability and is charged at a $24 flat rate (cash only), valid to 6am on the next morning.
