The 2013 PCSI Winterschool was hosted by the National Centre for Classification in Health, The University of Sydney
PCSI is an international organisation focusing on all aspects of casemix based classification, analysis and financing. The organisation hosts an annual conference and offers educational opportunities through its casemix schools.
Its teaching content and topics are described by its theme “Design and Implementation of Activity Based Funding”.

30 November 2012 - ABF Casemix Symposium 1: Classification Development Toolkit (issues and techniques)
The symposium was hosted by the National Centre for Classification in Health, The University of Sydney.

12-13 November 2012 - Unlocking the Value of Mortality Data - AMDIG Workshop 2012
This workshop was hosted by the Australian Bureau of Statistics and the National Centre for Classification in Health, University of Sydney.

March 2012 - Continuing Education Workshop
In March 2012, the NCCH in conjunction with the Northern Sydney Local Health District prepared and delivered a one day coding continuing education workshop. The workshop included a presentation delivered by Professor Ric Marshall on Activity Based Funding (ABF). The workshop then continued with discussion surrounding the coding of various discharge summaries and clinical record scenarios using ICD-10-AM/ACHI/ACS Seventh Edition.
