International Students Faculty Welcome
Commencing international students enrolled at the Faculty of Health Sciences are invited to the Faculty Welcome to be held on Wednesday, 26 February 2014 at the JDV Courtyard at Cumberland Campus. It will commence at 10am and conclude by 4pm.
Peer-Mentoring Program for new incoming students
You are invited to join the Belong@FHS peer-mentoring program, established to create a community of belongingness within the Faculty of Health Sciences. It includes social activities, online discussions and lunch sessions with your senior peers. It is strongly recommended that you enroll in this program as it is a fantastic opportunity to support your transition to the Faculty of Health Sciences. Enrolment will open in January 2014.
Workshops supporting transition into University of Sydney for International Students
Workshops in academic skills for studying in Australia, academic reading and writing workshops, as well as introductory/refresher classes in some subjects relevant to the health sciences, will be offered throughout semester 1, 2014 through the Learning Centre at Cumberland Campus. A detailed schedule of the workshops will be available in late February.
International students commencing their studies in 2014 are advised to regularly consult the University of Sydney International Students webpages for information on Orientation as this is updated regularly.
