Prometheus Research Team
The Prometheus Research Team is dedicated to research and postgraduate training in the field of Cyberpsychology & e-Health. This area of research aims to improve the health and well being of all ages across the lifespan by utilising innovative mobile and internet multimedia technologies, as well as serious games and social networking initiatives. Formed in 2006, Prometheus is located within the Faculty of Health Sciences and is a part of the Faculty Research Group (FRG) of Disability & Community - Mental Health Team.
Prometheus works closely with the disciplines of behavioural science, health science, psychology, medicine and health informatics. In 2010, the Prometheus IS (Information Science) team was established at the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Information and Media Studies. This team is lead by Dr Diane Neal and provides international research and postgraduate training in collaboration with Dr Andrew Campbell, Director of Prometheus at The University of Sydney.
