Make an update to my profile page
Your Page: sydney.edu.au/health_sciences/staff/[firstname]_[lastname]
To update your staff profile, please complete the following steps.
Complete the online update request form You must log in with "mcs\unikey"
Enter content you wish to appear for each block/heading. Be sure to enter only the text you wish to modify otherwise leave the section blank. The existing content will be removed and replaced with your new submission.
The main profile page will be updated every six months. Reviews will take place twice each year, academics be reminded to review their profile and submit any required changes
For new staff
Requesting a new staff profile
New Academic and Research Technical support staff that do not have a profile page, should complete the online request form logging in with "mcs\your_unikey"
Normally, new starters will have a general profile created by Staff Development when joining the Faculty. To enter additional information and update your profile, please complete the online request form as per the “Updating an existing profile” section above.
The Further Publications and Grants page updates
Your Publications and Grants page: sydney.edu.au/health_sciences/staff/publications/[firstname]_[lastname]
All content for the "Further Publications and Further Grants" page will be updated centrally. These updates will be completed automatically each quarter during Jan, April, July, October. The content for these pages is drawn from RIMS and IRMA, the information management systems used by the University for HERDC reporting. Each Academic is responsible for submitting new grants and publications to their Research Group Administrator prior to each quarterly updates. Only grants and publications that are entered in RIMS or IRMA can appear on the “Further Publications and Further Grants” pages.
The “Further Publications and Further Grants” pages include publications and grants from last five years. If previous grants and publications do not appear in your profile, they may not exist in RIMS or IRMA. Your Research Group Administrator can assist you to review the information in RIMS and IRMA and update the systems if required. Please note, new listings added to RIMS and IRMA will appear following the next quarterly update.
“Selected Publications and Grants” on the main profile page is updated during the review using the update request form (Updating an existing profile section above).
It is important that academics are aware that the publications listings cannot be manually overridden. It is important that your grant and publication information in RIMS and IRMA is updated in a timely manner to ensure that your publications are up to date.
