Our People

Ageing and Health Research Leaders

The research team is led by Professor Hal Kendig and Dr Kate O'Loughlin.

It comprises seven team members with expertise in:

• sociology;
• public health;
• gerontology;
• biostatistics;
• epidemiology;
• medicine and
• economics.

We work closely with older people themselves, their representatives, consumer organisations, service providers and government. We also collaborate with other faculties, the Centre for Excellence in Population Ageing Research (CEPAR), the Centre for Education and Research on Ageing, and universities across Australia and internationally.
