Discipline of Exercise & Sport Science
The Discipline of Exercise and Sport Science is part of the Faculty of Health Sciences. The discipline focuses on the integration of exercise and physical activity into health care, sports performance, disease prevention and rehabilitation. The breadth of the field means our graduates are highly sought after across industries and work in a range of settings including community organisations, health care centres, fitness and sports clinics, aged care and rehabilitation services.
The discipline has close links with community groups and professional organisations in the field of Exercise and Sport Science including the NSW and Australian institutes.
Staff and students of the Discipline of Exercise and Sport Science are also actively engaged in a number of research projects in health, exercise physiology and biomechanics, including working with elite athletes across a range of sporting codes.
