The Faculty of Health Sciences takes very seriously its responsibilities for the safety of students. The University has a statutory obligation to provide a safe working environment. Safety in the workplace is a cooperative venture, and staff and students have obligations to contribute towards and maintain safety. There is a duty of care for all students to be responsible for their own actions, as well as taking care of others around them. An overview of OHS for students, addressing some of the critical issues, is available under OHS
