Research Funding

Research at the Faculty is mostly funded through competitive funding grants from the Australian Research Council (ARC), National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) and various other Commonwealth, international, and Industry schemes such as:

  • Speech Pathology Australia, Physiotherapy Research Foundation and other professional organisations
  • NSW Motor Accidents Authority, Medical Benefits Fund
  • State and Federal government departments such as the NSW Department of Ageing, Disability and Health Care or Commonwealth Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Disease-specific organisations such as the Arthritis Foundation, Stroke Foundation or Heart Foundation
  • Sporting bodies such as the NSW Institute of Sport, Cricket Australia
