Biography

I am a Lecturer of Diagnostic Radiography in the Discipline of Medical Radiation Sciences at the University of Sydney. I worked as a radiographer in the UK at the Brook General Hospital, Westminster Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and Atkinson Morley’s Hospital before starting a full time academic career.

I taught and researched as a Senior Lecturer in the UK at Kingston University and St George’s Hospital Medical School and was appointed as a Lecturer at the University of Sydney in 2002. My research interests are in medical image perception and I have developed undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in many areas related to radiographic practice. I am a member of the Medical Image Optimisation and Perception Group (MIOPeG).


Teaching and Service Responsibilities

My teaching responsibilities are in the Diagnostic Radiography undergraduate and post graduate programmes. I teach various aspects Radiographic Practice, such as CT, MRI and angiography on the BSc. Post Graduate Certificate, Post Graduate Diploma and MSc. Medical Radiation Sciences programmes at the University of Sydney
