1. The scene on the left as we view the painting is not visible in its entirety because it has been cut through. It may have contained a depiction of the toilet of the heavenly nymphs who have descended from Indra’s heaven sent to tempt the meditating Arjuna. 2. To the right of the previous scene is a depiction of the scene in which the nymphs tempt the meditating Arjuna. Note the very explicit display of sexuality by the servant figure on the right as she distracts the parekan next to her [ref PW 2005]
