• ADELAIDE GUEST LECTURE on "Mind over Matter: A new universal model of stupidity jokes embracing blondes and analysing power", Wednesday 30 June 2010, 2.00pm to 3.00pm, at the Flinders Humanities Research Centre, Flinders University.
• Christie Davies is the author of “The Mirth of Nations” (Transaction, 2002) and “Jokes and their Relation to Society” (Mouton de Gruyter, 1998) and many other studies of international joke-cycles.
