Our team
ICT has over 300 staff in several locations across the University. Below is a high-level introduction to the different portfolios and what each of them are responsible for.
ICT Faculty Services
This group provides a conduit for communications to improve information and technology support for faculties, schools and related organisations.
The team manages relationships with the executive, management and technical staff including deans, heads of schools and computer support personnel. The group is also responsible for transitions into ICT Shared Services.

ICT Academic Services
Working closely with the Education, Research and International portfolios and the Provost, this team plans for, implements and supports ICT systems for learning and teaching, student administration, e-research and research management.
ICT Professional Services
This group develops, implements and supports ICT solutions for the University’s Professional Service Units as well as OGC, the office of the Vice Chancellor and the External Relations portfolio.
ICT Service Management
Provides the University’s ICT infrastructure, including the University Data Centre, networks, security, disaster recovery and training. ICT Helpdesk, and Desktop, Audiovisual and Field support are in this team.
