ICT Audio Visual Services

ICT's Audio Visual Services provides the University with:

• Advanced AV systems and interactive technologies in venues across the University designed to enrich presentations and engage students
• User support, maintenance and technical expertise for all of our AV equipment and systems
• Video and web conferencing for multi-point or point-to-point virtual meetings
• Remote access tools for more rapid user support response and resolution times
• Telephone and on-line booking of audio visual equipment for functions, seminars and presentations
• Expert advice and consultation on designing and installing AV systems
• Video and audio production for enhanced learning and teaching outcomes

Our AV systems provide everything from dual projection facilities, network and internet access for lecturers, interactive pens & screens, visualisers (document cameras), laptop connections, wireless microphones, student response kits and lecture recording capabilities.

Training is available on the use of our audio visual systems via our detailed on-line AV Help Videos as well as regular training seminars.   State of the art Dell multi-touch interactive screens have been rolled out in scores of teaching venues across campus. Touching, dragging and manipulating text, images and objects results in a more seamless and authentic interface between technology and educators.
